About The Authors

A native of Arizona, Yuri Downing, JD. was one of the first licenseholders  to make millions in the Arizona cannabis industry, and one of the only  Hispanics to become a principal officer on a dispensary license.  Sometimes called the “bad boy of cannabis”, Yuri has leveraged his  educational background, industry experience, street smarts, and human  and financial resources into several lucrative opportunites in the states,  abroad.  In reading this book, you will learm from Yuri how to leverage your skills and resources,  regardless of how limited or expansive, into a rewarding position in the cannabis industry.

Ingrid Joiya-Warrick, JD is a native of Chicago, but has lived in Arizona for the past 20 years.  Despite the challenges inherent in operating in a state with a lack of any significant diversity and  a well-publicized general animus towards the cannabis industry, Ingrid has coupled her legal  background with her entrepreneurial experience to  carve out a niche in the green rush.  An attorney by education, and a former national board member of National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA), Ingrid has worked with women and minority entrepreneurs in particular for the past decade, to help them to identify where their skills are best suited to capitalize on the highly profitable cannabis industhighly profitable cannabis industry.
